For years, SLPs have talked about reimbursement. We have explained that costs are rising. We have shared what we are seeing in our practices, our workplaces, and our communities.

The SPEAK Project is moving quickly to collect national economic data from SLP practices across the country and get that evidence into the right hands.Â

We are not simply collecting numbers. This goal funds the professional analysis, legal expertise, healthcare policy strategy, and lobbying required to defend our profession. To protect ethical care, we must speak the language of those who decide our value.

SPEAK is being organized as an advocacy-focused nonprofit organization. Contributions to this campaign are not tax-deductible as charitable donations. Funds raised will be used to support the SPEAK Project's data collection, professional analysis, legal and policy guidance, and advocacy efforts described above.
