Independent Financial Analysis
Our CPA team is analyzing nationwide practice data to determine the actual cost of providing speech-language pathology services and related data to support our advocacy efforts.

This work will provide credible, profession-specific evidence on operating costs, workforce expenses, patient access, waitlists, and the financial realities providers face. The findings will support advocacy with CMS, HHS, Congress, and state Medicaid programs.

Federal advocacy & Strategy
Our federal advocacy, legal, and policy professionals are developing a coordinated strategy to present our evidence to the right decision-makers at the right time. Their work includes:

Securing and preparing for meetings with Congress, CMS, HHS, and other key decision-makers

Evaluating the legislative, regulatory, legal, and administrative pathways available to us

The SPEAK Project is bringing together SLPs, SLPAs, practice owners, patients, families, and supporters nationwide to create one coordinated voice.
